Miss Ida Ljungqvist Signs at NAMM for Clayton
The Playmate of the Year Miss Ida Ljungqvist was in full bunny costume signing autographs and handing out picks with her signature on them at NAMM 2010 for us. She had a very long line of fans waiting to get her autograph! To see the whole line of Playboy products please check out our website at: www.playboyguitars.com.
How long was that line???
I have been asked so many times how long our line was at NAMM to meet Kyle Gass. We do know that it spanned a couple of isles and was extremly long. We were lucky enough to recently obtain some video footage that shows at least half of the length of the line. The other half of the line goes to the right, and was broken up in order to allow traffic to flow by. Click on the picture below to view the Quicktime movie.Continue Reading

After three straight hours of signing autographs, Kyle Gass had some final words to say at the NAMM show.
Kyle Gass Signs at Clayton NAMM booth
Yes, it is true! Kyle Gass of Tenacious D / Trainwreck came to the Clayton Booth at NAMM 2010 to do
a signing for all his fans. Hundreds and hundreds of his fans
showed up to meet him and get
an autograph with a line that spaned over 3 aisles! Some fans waited in line over an hour to be one of the
first to meet him. Kyle did not disappoint, [...]
Byron Nemeth
Byron has just finished a brand new instrumental song entitled “Engines Of Thunder”. Stylistically it’s a “tip-of-the-hat” to the early Satriani & Hendrix vibe when there was strong emphasis on composition and lyrical soloing with catchy hooks and unique twists in the guitar playing.
“Engines Of Thunder” was recorded in Apple Logic Pro X with the Universal Audio Apollo Twin X QUAD using only the UA Marshall JMP 2203 and Marshall Silver Jubilee 2555 plug-in’s for an amazing emulation of the legendary Marshall sound.
These plug-in’s are like recording with Vintage Gear because they deliver dead-on tones of the great [...]
Foo Fighters
We just finished up an order for the Foo Fighters this week. We’ve been making picks for the Foo Fighters for several years now. This time they went with a patriotic color scheme and got red, white and blue logos printed on the Acetal, Rounded Triangle, .63mm for an upcoming performance. They also ordered there usual pick with the blue FF logo on the Acetal, Standard, .5mm. They mostly order this one, and you may have seen it in the samples on our website. They have ordered Black Raven, several [...]
James Otto’s New Picks
We just got finished with an order for James Otto. He went with a completely different design since he has a new single and album coming out. The new design looks great! I just went over to his myspace to check out his new single, “Since you brought it up”. Like his other songs this one is great, and the lyrics rock! I especially liked the chorus, it’s pretty catchy. Jame’s personally uses our Acetal, Rounded Triangle, 1mm picks. If you [...]
Shotgun Riot
Glasstone Records sent us press kit a few months back, we are in the process of endorsing several of their bands. You should have seen the stack of contracts I had to sign, my hand was aching at the end of it! :). When we get them all back I will take a picture with them all so you can see why, haha. We just got the first contracts back from Neil, Tom and Adam of Shotgun Riot. I think this is [...]
