Get Ready to Oooh and Ahhh…

Ok, we admit it…sometime we just like to show off what we can do here at Steve Clayton, Inc. when it comes to custom designed picks. These designs submitted by customers recently give us the perfect opportunity to show what we can do! All of these designs were done our acetal material pick, which is by far the most versatile for custom designs. Each of these picks has artwork that is very colorful and detailed. Also, they are full bleed designs, meaning that they have to be printed all the way to the edge of the pick. We think that, [...]

Interview with Patrick Vega

Patrick Vega just did an interview with Jason of Rock Zone. We just wanted to share his interview and also thank him for all the kind words on our picks! Patrick was just endorsed by us earlier this year.

1.  Patrick, I know that you endorse Steve Clayton Custom Made Guitar Picks.  First off all, could you please share with our readers how you first met Steve Clayton and what it was about Steve and his company that impressed you the most?

Someone gave me [...]

Fantastic Full Bleeds!

We wanted to show off a few of the really cool designs that customers have created recently for custom guitar picks. These are customers who did not hold back when designing their picks; they have a lot of color and detail and they all came out great on our picks! These customers all chose the “full bleed” option for their guitar picks. This means that, instead of having a small border around the artwork, the design will bleed right to the edge of the pick. It is a little bit more expensive to choose this option for custom picks, but [...]

Wedding Bells Ring on 10-10-10

We had to write a blog about this, because we have noticed that, lately, we have received numerous custom guitar pick orders for weddings that are on October 10, 2010. We have already discovered that custom guitar picks can be a very popular idea for use in weddings, and now we have even more wedding pick orders for this special date that is approaching! If you are planning a 10/10/10 wedding, or a wedding on any date in the near future, you should consider adding custom guitar picks to your planning. They can be used in save-the-dates, invitations, as favors [...]

Picture Yourself!

Did you know that Clayton can customize guitar picks using full color photos? We can!! Shown here are some examples of custom guitar pick designs submitted by our customers who chose to use photos of themselves to customize their picks. We can do full color or greyscale photos on any of our white material picks. In this photo, all three white pick materials that we offer for customization are represented; white pearl, white delrin, and acetal (left to right). The photo on the far left was a perfect match for our white pearl picks, because it has water in the [...]

Brighten up!

Are you looking for a bright pick that will catch people’s attention? Or maybe you just want a very specific color for your guitar picks? Give  our colored pearls a try!  We offer colored delrin custom guitar picks, but sometimes we find that customers are looking for a very specific color that is not available in delrin. Also, the colors of the delrins are dictated by the gauges (for example, red = .5mm gauge), but sometimes someone is looking for a color of pick in a different gauge than the one offered for colored delrin. This is when we recommend [...]

Muck and The Mires

Band from Boston, Massachusetts signs with Clayton.  Once Evan Shore, from the band discovered we do custom guitar picks he switched the whole band to Clayton custom picks.  On 2004, the group released its first proper album, Beginner’s Muck, on their AMP label.  This band was featured on MTV as they were the co-winners of Little Steven’s Underground Garage Battle of the Bands.  Kim Fowler produced the band and they have had huge success since the start.  We are so happy to endorse such a great rock band.  Bring your rock to Steve Clayton’s custom picks like Muck and The Mires have!
