Hot Stamp Foil Picks That Should Be…

Take a look at these pretty Hot Stamp Foil Guitar Picks. One of my favorites as they are always a surprise to see the color come out, almost silky looking with a beautiful bright shine. If you play the electric guitar, you’ll want these picks on stage as they look pretty hot with their bright silver and gold foil.  We have other foil colors you can choose from like purple or red.  The wolf in the design here is a great example of what you can do for a hot stamp foil custom pick.  These picks can take about 4-6 [...]

Pick of the Week, Bon Journey

This week we are featuing an amazing pick done on our white pearl celluloid picks.  This is a multi-color imprint with an overbleed print. It is hard to see in the picture, but we use transparent colors on our pearl picks, so you can still see the pearl pattern behind the ink.  It makes the image look almost like stained glass. This pick is for one of our newly endorsed bands, Bon Journey. Bon Journey is a Bon Jovi, and Journey Tribute band. They are awesome. They even won best [...]

Bright Colors, Black Picks

Black celluloid picks are one of the newer materials that Steve Clayton, Inc. has provided for custom guitar picks. Black celluloids are a smooth material, with a slightly glossy finish. They are available in three gauges; thin (.5), medium (.8), and heavy (1mm).  Most designs created for black celluloid picks are white only, so we decided to draw attention to some of the full color designs that have been created recently. We find that red is another popular choice for designs on [...]

Pretty Pearls

Here at Steve Clayton, Inc., one of the pick materials that we offer for custom pick design is white pearl. White pearl is a white pick that has a marbleized quality to it, with a shiny/glossy finish instead of being a flat color. Our custom white pearls are available in six different gauges and in both standard and rounded triangle shapes. We have noticed that designs with a lot of color tend to look especially eye-catching on our white pearl picks. Some examples are shown in the photo below. Some customers choose to have white pearl designs that are overbleed, [...]

Easter Pearls

Easter is just around the corner, and we would like to draw attention to our colored pearl picks for the occasion! Aside from the colored delrins, the colored pearl picks are the only custom picks available in a wide variety of colors. Shown here are a few examples of what custom pick designers have created in the past. While we can only use black designs on the colored pearls, the options for the pick colors provide endless possibilities. Also, the [...]

Pictures of our NAMM booth

We have been getting lots of requests to put up pictures of our 2010 NAMM booth. I finally got around to getting them on here.  We had a double decker booth this year with a lounge at the top.  In addition we had 2 sound proof offices to conduct meetings in. As anyone who has ever been to NAMM knows, it is very loud! Without the sound proof rooms it can be quite impossible to get any business done, especially in Hall C were we are located.
