Rock Your Wedding!

This week at Steve Clayton, Inc., we had a really nice design submitted by a customer for guitar picks for his wedding. We wanted to write a blog about it, simply because the art is really cool! As you can see, the artwork includes a guitar, flames, roses, and the date of the wedding. The colors go really nicely together, and look awesome on our white delrin guitar pick material. The other side of the pick has the same design, but [...]

Pick Art

We have had some customers submit some really cool pick art recently, and we wanted to show off these designs! All of them are very colorful, and they were created using various types of artwork. The pick on the far left was made using a cartoon image, on our white delrin picks. The center pick has a painting on it, which appears 3D on our white pearl picks. The pick on the far right uses a nice photo of northern lights to create a unique look. For full color art such as the designs shown here, we offer three different [...]

Pick of the Week — Manifest Destiny

This week’s Pick of the Week is for Manifest Destiny, a band made up of longtime fans of The Dictators who never got a chance to see them live due to the geographic (and perhaps cultural) isolation of Fresno, CA. Comprised of local longtime musicians, Manifest Destiny (www.manifestdestinyrocks.com) is a musical tribute to The Dictators which aims to save rock and roll, or have the most fun failing in the attempt. Their genre definition is Rock, Rock & Roll, Proto-Punk, Post-Glam Rock, The Missing Link. Band members include Marvelous Jonny Manbeef (vocals), Zinck (guitar), Essé (drums), Squink (bass), Ross The Boss Too (guitar). They have [...]

Pick of the Week — Megan Redmond

This week’s featured pick was created for country music artist and songwriter Megan Redmond,  from Denver, CO. She has a beautiful design with great colors that turned out really well on our acetal picks.  Here is some information about Megan’s work, taken from her website: “Megan’s vocal strength and sound have been compared to a young Faith Hill with a pinch of Alison Krauss.  Megan’s music, and the covers she chooses, lean towards creating a fun, energetic emotional experience that all her fans can personally relate to. At only 15 years old, [...]

Full Color Black Celluloid

We wanted to show off an example of an awesome full color design for black celluloid custom guitar picks that one of our customers submitted. The design is pretty intricate and has a lot of detail, but it turned out really well. We love how the white and bright blue contrast against the black color of the pick. You can create a design like this on our custom guitar pick site: www.claytoncustom.com. Be sure to choose black celluloid as your pick material if you would  like to get awesome black glossy finish picks like the one shown. If your design [...]

Pick of the Week — The Whiners Band

This week’s Pick of the Week is for a band called “The Whiners.” The design was printed on our acetal picks, and we liked how they used a full bleed option to put their logo on the top half of the pick. Here is a little info about the band, taken from their website: “Jamie and Keith are The Whiners. Consider them NOS. NOS? Musicians who are into equipment and gear will know NOS means “New Old Stock”. They are based in Toronto, and they were originated by Keith in 1998. The [...]
