This week’s pick of the week was created by Ryan Adkins, lead vocalist and guitarist from the band “ForeRunner.” Ryan is originally from Magnolia, Ohio, near Canton, where he has been involved in a variety of eleven different bands in eighteen years. He has written and produced most of the music he has performed, and is a graduate of Ohio Christian University, having received a degree in Christian Ministries and Music.  He is now working on a Masters in Divinity from Wesley Biblical Seminary.  Ryan was diagnosed in 2007 with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.  He had a very large tumor in his chest that stopped their summer tour while he underwent 3 surgeries, 6 months of chemotherapy and 20 radiation treatments.  3 Years later his cancer returned and forced him back into treatments and, finally, a stem cell transplant.  He is back on the road and in the studio recording with Josh Brown from “Full Devil Jacket” and “Day of Fire” and producer Rogers Masson.  Only by the grace of God he sings and shares his story at every concert scheduled!
