Pick of the Week — The Darlins
This week’s Pick of the Week was created for the band The Darlins. “In September of 
2008, singer/songwriter and founding member of her former LA based duo, The Darlins, Portland- born guitarist, Jude Toy, asked co-worker and fellow singer/songwriter and Nashville native, Erinn Bates, if she wanted to write and perform together around town. From the first writing appointment, they knew they had something special. Jude’s rocking acoustic guitar and harmonies blended harmoniously with Erinn’s bluegrass-tinged lead vocals and mandolin. In 2009, The Darlins were reborn and opened for country stars Darryl Worley and Andy Griggs and were asked to take part in the Music City showcase, Alabama Line. Their rootsy harmony-riched sound has helped them play venues like Music City Roots and The Bluebird Cafe as well as have their original songs placed on network television.
