Giorgio Trombino
Giorgio Trombino (Palermo, 1988) is an Italian musician with a 20+ years history of commitment to the heavy, evil side of rock music. With a magna cum laude Bachelor’s Degree in Musical Disciplines at his hometown’s university, multiple tours under his belt, festival appearances across the EU and Japan, an extensive Discogs page listing 83 releases with Giorgio’s work at different stages of the music production (mainly as a guitar player and singer, but also as a multi-instrumentalist doing session work, OST composer or even as mix/mastering engineer), Giorgio is an unstoppable force to be reckoned with.
Currently based in Veneto, Northern Italy, Giorgio is as active as ever both live and in the studio with a plethora of doom, death and black metal outfits which include Bottomless, Assumption, Thysia, Becerus and Shrieking Demons.
With a personal, yet ancestral style that carries the energy, feel and precision of guitar gods such as Michael Schenker and Ritchie Blackmore mixed with the beefy attitude of Tony Iommi’s iconic playing, Giorgio is a fan of small, strong and pointy picks to rip through the veils of the heavy metal realm. Needless to say, Clayton is now his go-to choice!
