James Otto’s New Picks

We just got finished with an order for James Otto. He went with a completely different design since he has a new single and album coming out. The new design looks great! james_ottoI just went over to his myspace to check out his new single, “Since you brought it up”. Like his other songs this one is great, and the lyrics rock! I especially liked the chorus, it’s pretty catchy. Jame’s personally uses our Acetal, Rounded Triangle, 1mm picks. If you haven’t [...]

Picks that make you go “aww”

Yes, believe it or not we do get orders for picks that have completely adorable artwork on it. cute_kidsThe scan for this post is of picks that prompted us to make this post. They were printed on Ultem, in the small teardrop shape. Normally we just imprint brown, red and black because they seem to imprint best on the ultem. However, since this was a thinner gauge we were able to get the yellow, orange, pink and blue to turn out quite [...]

A Pick from our Archives – Johnny Cash

johnny_cash1Every once in awhile when I am looking for something in my office I come across a custom pick we did from a long time ago. Just today I happened upon this Johnny Cash pick that we made. This exact pick is probably about 18 years old! Yes, very old. It is our Rounded Triangle Acetal (in Black) Johnny’s signature color, with his signature on it in white, gauge .50mm. Rockin’ Wedding Pick!

This wedding pick is by far a staff favorite! michelleWe really liked how it is kind of like a comic type drawing. These colors turned out great on the white delrin because the bright white background allowed the colors to really pop. It was originally tested on Acetal which gave it a softer look, however, with these colors and the sharp detail in the lines it was better suited to white delrin. If we haven’t mentioned it before Delrin is great for fine lines, and intriciate detailing. The soft, smooth [...]
